Friday Prayer at The Islamic Learning Center

On this day I went to the Elementary Laboratory School at same time as usual. On the last day I made an observation. I could not make more observations, at 10:30 am we said goodbye to the principal to go home and prepare for Friday prayers. For the Males, we are obligated to go to a mosque on Fridays. Friday prayer starts at 12:00 pm and from the Elementary Laboratory School to the nearest mosque will take approximately 11 km by riding a jeepney (a public transportation).

 Upon arrival at the Islamic Learning Center of Baguio, we immediately abluted and carried out our Friday prayers. After completing Friday prayers, we tried to get to know Baguio's Muslim friends. They were very enthusiastic to get acquainted and talk to me. They ask me about Islam in Indonesia. Among them there are those who speak Indonesian and they all turn out to idolize Indonesian singers who are famous for their mesmerizing beauty, and the name of the singer is Nisa Sabyan.

We talk to them for about 1½ hours, and then we said our goodbyes.
